Dr. Rano Burton was born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario, and as a proud northern girl, she has always loved the great outdoors. When she is not in the office, you’ll often find her biking around town or walking her beloved dog, Stanley. Dr. Burton’s academic journey began at Trinity College, University of Toronto, followed by earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Liverpool in 1991. She then completed her Master of Science and Diploma in Orthodontics at the University of Manitoba in 1997.
Since then, she has had the privilege of working in private practice while also sharing her passion for orthodontics as a clinical instructor—first with the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry, and now with the Graduate Orthodontic Program at the University of Western Ontario’s Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. As an Invisalign® provider since 2002, she has treated over 1,000 orthodontic cases with Invisalign aligners, earning Diamond Provider status.
